Amends 101: Resentment

I apologize for getting my feelings hurt when I didn’t get the attention or response that I was hoping to get. It was wrong for me to make you an excuse for how I was feeling. 

I am responsible for the way that I feel, no one else. My expectations set the stage for my resentments. 

I should not have reacted the way I did. I said hurtful things. You don’t deserve to be treated the way that I treated you. I will not to behave that way in the future.

I will pause and respond rather than act out in anger and instinct. I will practice honesty tempered with compassion. 

I am accountable.
