This morning I examine my spiritual toolkit.
What will serve me best today?
I chose my new glasses of Clarity …they give me vision beyond myself.
I grab my cloak of spiritual teflon …nothing sticks to me as I walk through situations and circumstance beyond my control.
I can’t forget my matching muzzle and hearing aids …they remind me to speak less and listen more.
I tighten the laces on my favorite pair of trudgers …they let me walk my prayers and keep me moving towards the principles I strive to be an example of.
I walk out the door thankful for another day of being sober. It’s cold.
I realize I’m not wearing pants …well that ought to keep me humble…
